Systems Administrator - Enterprise Asset Management

The EAM System Administrator administers and configures the database and applications in the EAM.  The role requires a clear understanding of the EAM from the user point of view, as well as, the knowledge to administer and configure the database and applications in the EAM, including implementation, database setup, security, maintenance, and customization.  Typical duties may include:1. Managing:–  EAM System administration and configuration modules–  Workflow development and administration2. Maintaining:–  EAM System organizational structure and application options–  Chart of accounts–  Application data fields and value lists3. Administering:–  Electronic auditing and signature security of record changes–  EAM System linked documents –  Change control process4. IT Support::–  Communicating (translating) EAM System User issues and requests to appropriate IT support area; communicating and implementing solutions–  Working with IT to apply, test and verify fixes/patches to EAM System–  Supporting EAM System Upgrade Projects–  Identifying and communicating EAM System defects to vendor and/or ITServing as primary contact person for EAM System Users and IT support Primary Skills: 1. BS in Computer Science, Engineering or Business related field and / or equivalent work experience2. 3 – 5 years business system analysis skills3. Proven ability to build relationships with all levels of the organization and to communicate effectively with department heads, managers, supervisors and clerical staff4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills5. Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office applications6. Working knowledge of MS Access, SQL and ODBC applications7. Demonstrated experience working with database applications8. Query and report writing experience9. Ability to run reports and validate data10. Desire to remain current with developments in advancing technologiesPrior satisfactory job performanceSecondary: 1. 3 years of EAM System Administrator experience2. Proficiency with MRO – Maximo Software Products3. Working knowledge of enterprise asset and work management processesExperience in application support / user help desks
