System Test Engineer â€“ MTS 3

Location: Westford, MA

Summary

Due to Juniperâ€™s growth we are adding a System Test Engineer to our team here in Westford, MA. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is looking for a growth opportunity with a strong, cutting edge company. Responsibilities

Formulating an overall test strategy, master test plan and detailed test cases for a software feature.

Verifying an application works under all supported different configurations.

Execution of automated scaling and performance tests generated by Other System Test Group engineers.

Investigation of test failures- strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Defect creation and verification

Generation of Test Results

Generation of newly automated test

Qualifications

2+ years Formal software testing experience

Ability to operate independently or as part of a team

Ability to see tasks through to completion without constant management input

Experience with Perl, Tcl/Tk, Java, Test Automation, SNMP, Expect, Unix, or Windows NT.

Understanding of one or more of the following protocols: DHCP, PPPOE, PPP/HDLC, RADIUS, DNS, IP, RIP, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MBGP, PIM, IGMP, DVMRP, and/or MPLS.
