Job Description:
This company is seeking a Systems Integration Consultant who will be responsible for integrating large-scale, complex financial software applications designed for high volume trading at leading financial institutions. The company’s clients are fast-paced trading desks and portfolio managers that demand a high level of performance which our unique service-oriented, event-driven architecture provides.

Our System Integration Consultants work with cutting edge technologies supporting a real-time SOA suite of applications. The position requires occasional travel to client sites, and familiarity with Message Oriented Middleware and Databases. This position involves all aspects of the software development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing.

You will be called upon to provide comprehensive technical expertise and guidance on the following:Integrating the company’s Order Management System (OMS) and Compliance System with client’s existing front-office and back-office systems Developing custom integration solutions, new adapters, and new APIs Consulting with clients on best practices on how to properly configure, customize, and tune various integration applications Troubleshooting of application, database, messaging, and operating system issues

Qualifications:Familiar with XML transformation technologies including Extensible Stylesheet Language (XSL) and XSL Transformations (XSLT) Familiar with XML Schemas including XML Schema Definition (XSD) and Document Type Definition (DTD) Experience with leading Message Oriented Middleware products including TIBCO SmartSockets & Rendezvous, IBM WebSphere MQ (MQSeries), & Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ) Familiar with C++, C#/.NET, and Java Experience with leading Database products (SQL Server and Oracle) Knowledge of Windows and UNIX/Linux environments Familiar with Integrated Development Environments (e.g. Visual Studio, Eclipse) Proven experience (2-4 years) implementing large & complex software systems Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills Ability to effectively communicate both high level and detailed technical concepts to clients and internally Superb analysis, troubleshooting and problem solving skills Ability to travel up to 10-30% of the time Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience Experience in financial services (specifically asset management) preferred

Responsibilities:Implement integration projects using XML and XML related technologies including XSL & XSLT Provide leadership to clients to support the integration of large scale software applications Design, extend, and create automated interfaces between the company’s product suite and client systems. Document, analyze, and deliver technical recommendations to clients Deliver presentations and conduct integration workshops for clients and employees Provide training to internal and external stakeholders Be a technology expert by keeping abreast of technology innovations and communicate recommendations both internally and to clients Collaborate and communicate with implementation team members Provide application support as required

This company is seeking a motivated System Integration Professional to provide technical expertise for our clients. Ideal candidate for this position has a minimum of 3 years of  development experience on large scale, message-based systems.
