Symantec Product Specialist (Sales Operations)
Symantec Product Specialist CompuCom's pre- and post-sales activities and work with End Users to maximize sales opportunities. This person will also be responsible for educating Reseller and Symantec account managers on the technologies and resources available to them from both organizations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Serve as primary contact for Symantec to the Reseller Increase Reseller sales team productivity, deal size and awareness of Symantec. Facilitate Symantec orders through Reseller and where applicable directly with Symantec. Promote available resources and tools (i.e. Corporate Reseller Site, PartnerNet, and Field Sales Maps). Execute against quarterly revenue goals set by Symantec partner manager. Train Reseller sales teams on how to sell and license Symantec products using a combination of programs such as lunch and learn, new hire training, and new product training. Increase deal registration opportunities by providing support and training to Reseller sales teams. Conduct and assist with Symantec sales events (e.g., Floor Days, Mini Comdex, and Café Days) to increase visibility and knowledge-sharing among Reseller sales teams. Monitor, identify and correct any Reseller database issues such as wrong or missing SKU numbers. Review orders for accuracy to minimize RMAs Supply bid desk assistance and respond to bids. Review pipeline information to optimize sales opportunities. Provide feedback and guidance on how to structure sales programs and incentives. Conduct account planning sessions with Reseller sales force which includes segmenting account base to coordinate customer contact.
