Be part of a growing organization of extremely talented minds in Central PA servicing a worldwide customer base. Mzinga is looking for a quality individual to lead the support of our industry-leading, team-based authoring and simulation tool set…the Firefly Authoring Suite.
Mzinga, the leading provider of business social media solutions that drive growth, innovation, and learning, seeks an intelligent, hard-working, personable Support Engineer to be a part of the Mzinga  Support Team. This individual will utilize their technical background and interpersonal skills to research and troubleshoot customer issues specific to the Firefly Authoring Suite. Please note that this is not an entry level position.Primary ResponsibilitiesThe research and troubleshooting of Firefly-based issues submitted by our customersThe creation of simulations that will be used for internal and external training initiativesProvide insight into the future direction of the product lineTesting new product functionalityProactive interaction with our internal and external customersDocumentation of FAQ’s, user guides and knowledgebase entriesReport on product trends and gapsPerform other duties as assigned by management Education/Experience/SkillsBachelor's degree or comparable related work experience and/or training Strong, self-directed learner with an ability and desire to solve problems and acquire new skills in a fast-paced work environmentPrevious experience with simulation-based software and/or eLearning course development software Technical skills/exposure to: HTML/XML/CSS, JavaScript, Windows XP/Vista, IIS Desire to work in a customer-facing role Strong organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills Attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Ability to work both independently and as a productive, helpful team member
