Support Analyst 2, to work with SharePoint Online Support in the role of Operations Analyst.

Feel like you're spending more time on email than cool technology?  The SharePoint Online Support team has an immediate opening for an Operations Analyst supporting cutting edge collaboration technologies.  The SharePoint Online Support team manages the global SharePoint infrastructure that hosts SharePoint for us and our external customers.

As an Operations Analyst within the SharePoint Online Support team you will perform tier 3 server investigations and administration to our SharePoint production environments.

Job responsibilities include:Consistent performance under time constraints determined by business and client needs.Friday evening and Saturday availabilityHigh-level of ability to read, interpret, and implement specs.Ability to analyze, interprets, and communicates complex errors using various tools such as WinDBG, fiddler and netmon.

Delivery of complex analytical and evaluative information for use by others, specific examples might include, but are not limited to some of the following:

Reports (status, usage data, test results, error logs) Web site updates FAQ and TSG documents Lead the creation of work plans and processes Effectively communicates complex technical information and procedures, verbally or through written documentation, with IT customers, team members, management and other analysts Proactively research systems to ensure optimal operation and best practices, and communicates findings appropriately

Qualifications include:

*2-3 years experience in the Data or Telecommunications industry in a network or service operations support role.

*Working experience with TCP and IP protocols including DNS and DHCP, use of Windows Server 2003, Windows Terminal Services, and VB Script.

*Working knowledge of SharePoint Portal Server and Windows SharePoint Services, SQL Server 2000, IIS, MOM, and SharePoint Designer.

*Working experience with server clustering and NLB.

*Sound problem resolution, and decision making skills.
