Supply Chain Software- ERP - Business Analyst

 

Jagged Peak is a rapidly growing technology company that is looking for dynamic and energetic individuals to meet today's challenges.  We are currently seeking a Business Analyst for Supply Chain (Enterprise Application) Software Delivery and E-Commerce Industry.

In this position you will work closely with clients to examine, analyze and document existing and expected business requirements and business processes. Then correlate these processes to our technology solutions.  You must be able to communicate business requirements to a software engineer while documenting the architecture of an improved technology solution. You will also produce several necessary reports to document all functional and aesthetic requirements.  Next you will present the design and proposed timeline to the client for approval. Once approved you will work closely with the client team and the Jagged Peak team to the implementation of the solution within the given timeline. 

Essential Duties include:Liaison extensively with external or internal clients. Producing reports; feasibility, productivity, budget to actual and team hour reports.  Analyzing project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization. Translating client requirements into highly specified project briefs. Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability. Creating logical and innovative solutions to complex problems and drawing up specific proposals for modified or replacement systems. Presenting proposals to clients. Identifying resources needed and assigning individual responsibilities. Working closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction. Drawing up a testing schedule for the complete system. Effectively applying our methodology and enforcing project standards. Preparing for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures. Minimizing our exposure and risk on a project. Writing user manuals. Providing training to users for a new system. Ensuring project documentation is complete, current and stored appropriately. Keeping up-to-date with technical as well as industry sector developments.

 

 

 

 

Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree. Ability to effectively communicate ideas and technical requirements. High level of proficiency in writing Business Requirement Documents (BRD) with technical specs. 5+ years business analyst experienceDemonstrated creative problem-solving. Ability to excel in a team environment. Must have high energy and possess a 'roll-up your sleeves' attitude. Must be detail-oriented, organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.Fulfillment and Order management systems experience (JP Edwards, SAP, People Soft, Retek, Oracle Fins, etc.) Familiarity with the Software Delivery Life Cycles (SDLC) for system implementations and business process management for order fulfillment/distribution and/or e-commerce business solutions.

Strongly Preferred Experience: Project management experience.
