Staff Software Engineer - Database Development



Description

As part of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for improvements to our design database structure and format. Typical tasks include; Enhancing the data structures to support our layout algorithms. Implementing load/save support and development of upgradeable formats. Devising more efficient memory management methods.

 Required Skills:5 years C++. Familiarity with EDA databases such as DBS, OpenAccess, or Milkyway. Knowledge of memory management internals, binary representations, endian issues, etc. Familiarity with parsing and some standard circuit design exchange formats. Basic knowledge of electronic circuits desirable. Tcl, Perl, Python, SWIG all desirable.

Education: BSCS/CE/EE, MSCS/CE/EE, PhD preferred.
