Staff Business Operations Analyst, End-to-End Readiness
Intuit's Consumer Tax Group, the makers of TurboTax, is seeking a senior level Business Systems Analyst for the Business Operations team. The Business Operations team is part of the Engineering and Operations organization and is responsible for driving requirements and processes that ensure our online services, such as TurboTax Online, are always available to our customers.
This position is specifically responsible for developing a strategy for ensuring all our integrated systems meet operational requirements for such things as reliability, availability, supportability, etc. This role will also have responsibility for execution of this strategy, working through other organizations to ensure the right work is being performed to improve operational excellence. This role will influence and work cross-functionally with business leaders, engineering, IT, marketing, customer support, and other organizations inside and outside of Intuit.
Ideal candidates will have proven leadership skills, a strong technical background, and 5+ years experience in the testing non-functional requirements.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Define a strategy for ensuring that CTG Business Operations can effectively measure and report out on E2E “operational readiness” at any time throughout the year
• Work with product development teams and IIT to ensure all systems involved in delivering critical CTG offerings have been properly tested to meet operational requirements (e.g. maintenance, availability, performance, etc.)
Qualifications:
· BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related area, or equivalent experience
· Experience in infrastructure, hardware, and software-related program management, QA and analysis across multiple business / functional units and/or multiple programs
· Sufficient understanding of performance testing and reliability/availability/supportability methodologies to drive best practices and process improvements
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proven leadership and the ability to drive processes with indirect authority. Handles conflict well and addresses issues directly
· Internally motivated, self-starter with ability to plan, organize and establish priorities to meet goals and achieve results
· Must work well under pressure, handling multiple tasks. Handles conflict well.
· Ability to lead change
· Preference for candidates with experience in large commercial web transaction environments such as financial institutions and e-commerce.
