This is fully funded startup developing the first of its kind Vertical Ad Network
With the world’s most popular peer to peer file-sharing software.
They are now initiating the build out the leadership and engineering teams and are seeking a Senior Software Engineer/ Team Lead, who has experience building high performing ad serving technologies. This person should be entrepreneurial and excited about the prospect of spearheading technological innovation which will impact how digital media is distributed worldwide.
ResponsibilitiesLead the team responsible for Architecting, developing and supporting a highly reliable, scalable and robust Advertising systemWork closely with senior management, program management, Research Scientists of the team to define features of the next generation advertising marketplaceDefine and drive good coding and architectural standards working with other engineersWrite detailed technical documents Understand and affect the product direction
Qualifications:MS/PhD in Computer Science or other relevant discipline. Strong programming background in Distributed computing and/or high performance systems Strong experience in C/C++ and relational databasesStrong team player and good cross-team collaboration work experience Participated in multiple Software Development Life CyclesStrong preferences for candidates with direct experience in search and sponsored search technologies
