Location: Emeryville, CA 94608 Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Expected Duration: 5+ to 7 Years Pay Rate: 70.00 - 115.00 USD /hour Reference Code: 1001131611 Sr. Software Engineer II  Principal Responsibility: Software Development – primarily coding in JavaScript and Actionscript Technologies JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, Adobe Flash, Adobe Flex 3, Actionscript 3,  Eclipse, Java, JSP, XML, XSD, XSLT, Tomcat/Coyote/JBOSS/Jetty Design/Documentation Ability to generate Software design specifications Ability to generate designs to support new requirements on an existing system Ability to understand requirements documents and high- level architecture Programming Object oriented development in JavaScript and Actionscript 3 Experience with 3rd party JavaScript libraries – MooTools preferred Extensive knowledge of HTML and CSS with the ability to manipulate these through the browser DOM. Experience in AJAX development calling REST based services Experience with MVC based frameworks Adobe Flex 3 development experiences including: Adobe Cairngorm MVC framework Making server side calls via HttpService Knowledge of the Flash graphics manipulation – both vector and bitmap manipulation Experience in the creation of JSP pages to act as host containers for rich internet applications. Experience with ATG E-commerce solutions is a plus Familiarity with consuming server based services from Flex applications through AJAX SOAP AMF-RemoteObject XML/XSD/Web Services SOAP – Simple Object Access Protocol REST – Representational State Transfer Ability to generate and work with XML schemas Understanding of Web Services Definition Language WSDL Java experience including Java EE - JBOSS JSP, Servlets, WebWork Knowledge of localization techniques Understanding of encryption and hashing algorithms Good knowledge of software algorithms and design patterns Experience History of successful software commercialization projects Knowledge and proven execution of Software Development processes (e.g., SCM) Strong organization skills, self-motivated, team player Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Quality Track record of quality software development including the creation and execution of unit tests, and release documentation to Software Configuration Management
