Senior Programmer

 

Software development consulting firm with a concentration in the Investment Banking industry is looking for an ambitious individual, full time contract or employee, with the motivation to work in a fast moving environment and a desire to solve difficult problems with some of the brightest minds in the field.

 

Dynatech Consulting builds custom application software systems from a mere idea to full enterprise systems.  We design, develop and support multi-million dollar web systems that continually change to keep up with the fluctuating securities and banking industry and help our clients maintain a competitive edge in the market place.

 

Duties:Designing and developing new systems to meet acutely customized client needsTroubleshooting problems in current systems environmentAssisting clients with end user questions and issues for solving the ever changing securities trading business.

 

Requirements:2+ years with .NET experience3+ years in a corporate setting with experience in a team settingStrong foundation in C or other basic computing language that will aid in learning new languages and conceptsExtremely solid math, analytic and deductive reasoning skillsAbility to design, develop and debug with out any third party tools or software aids.MS Sharepoint Services experience preferredMS Server Administrator experience preferred

 

Other important attributes:Excellent communication skillsSelf starter who is willing to dive into systems issuesAbility to be creative and find multiple solutions to problemsPatient and positive attitude when dealing with end usersOther systems knowledge of Object Oriented design, Research and debugging techniques, Java/J2EE programming, DHTML programming, and SQL.High-speed typing skillsWillingness to learn new tools and the Investment Banking industry.Employment is contingent upon a successful background check and drug screening result

 

Salary is based on skill set and is very competitive in order to hire the right person for the job.
