Sr. Software Engineer - Identity Management
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Would you like to work for a Open Source leader in a high growth sector? This job provides a great opportunity to work in Sun's Identity Management group. Identity Management is one of the leading high growth sectors in software industry. The job requires design, development, testing, diagnosis and deployment of Identity management products at Sun. The job functions covers many aspects of Identity Management such as authentication, single-sign-on, authorization, federation, web services security, web services federation, Active Directory Services Federation, etc,. It also includes integration of Sun Identity Products with many web applications like IIS, OWA, Sharepoint, Lotus Domino, Weblogic, Websphere, Oracle, SAP, etc. The job requires developing various APIs or modules for different aspects of Identity Functions in the .NET and Microsoft environment.MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:Participating in industry conferences, engaging with customers, participating in standards development.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:The expertise in .NET, C#, C/C++, Java, J2EE, WS-Fed, ADFS, Visual Studio, XML, Web Programming. The trouble shooting and debugging complex windows applications is an added advantage.PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE:The expertise in development on Windows platform related to all aspects of Identity Management.
