The Architect would be a part of a highly visible team that is responsible for creating, evolving and driving the implementation of the technology roadmap. Someone that can really impact their development staff, and can really bring some innovative ideas to the table is essential. Sr. Software Architect (.NET) Required Experience: Education: Four-year undergraduate degree in computer science, or related field. Experience: 7+ years of web application development experience. 5+ years of experience as a solutions architect capable of providing direction and unity to each project by working closely with other architects and analysts to ensure business requirements are implemented Solid understanding of Object Oriented programming theory and techniques. Knowledge of .NET design and development techniques. Knowledge of SQL database design and development. Experience documenting the architecture design using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate and interface with Sr. Management is a must. Demonstrated ability to maintain an awareness of shared service discovery/re-use opportunities within an enterprise architecture context Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex and often contentious issues, reach consensus and work through people to achieve key goals Ability to work at high-levels of abstraction. Strong in strategic and analytical thinking. Be able to manage and (re)prioritize the multiple concurrent issues, ambiguities, and contradictions that occur during the development of the software architecture. Ability to understand both the application domain and the major technologies used to implement the software architecture. Knowledge of major reusable software mechanisms and patterns.
