Sr. QA Engineer - MSCS Clustering
Job Requirements
As a System Level Quality Assurance Engineer you will develop and execute customer-like tests of VMware ESX Server at the system level. You will track and measure results and provide a quality assessment of the product set.
In addition, you will manage activities to meet delivery dates, and report accurate, complete status.
Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the development and execution of system
level tests of VMware ESX Server
* Automate large parts of the system level test plan, using
existing or new automation tools
* Working with QA teams and development teams to create
detailed test strategies and requirements
* Develop test plans and test tools to accomplish the
verification
* Ensuring comprehensive test coverage
* Contribute to test coverage improvement
* Contribute to tools development
* Reporting Metrics and status
Requirements:
* 2+ years working as a member in a high performing
system test team
* BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a
top tier school
* Possess excellent knowledge in Windows and Linux
system administration
* Working experience in Perl or Python for test case
automation/execution
* Fibre Channel SAN experience a plus
* Experience with high-availability systems such as MSCS a
plus
* VMware experience a plus
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
