Sr. Product Manager/Director - Internal Systems / Databases

One of my clients has an immediate opening for a Sr. Product Manager/Director. The company, based in Boston, is a leading international software product development company.


This position is for a senior product manager/director with solid technical foundation.   The ideal person came up the ranks as a software engineer working on large complex software development projects in a product company, and has demonstrated the ability to define and to lead the development of large software products. He/she combines strong leadership and communication skills with excellent ability to translate market insight into product direction and requirements. He/she is effective at working with an engineering team to deliver successful products, and at working with sales teams and with customers to help products achieve market success.

This individual is responsible for the Product Management and will oversee its requirement definition, development, enhancement, testing, and distribution.

Requirements

-  BSEE or BSCS Degree or other technical degree would be preferred
-  Technical software engineering background required; preferably with internal software development or database development.
-  Minimum 7 years experience in a product management or software management role at an enterprise software company
- Understanding of database, web, and operating systems
