Day to Day Work Supporting the TSA Databases.Requires experience includes but not limited to the following.* A minimum of 5 years DBA experience particularly with Oracle databases (8i,9i,10g) and hands-on experience in 11.5.10 Oracle Federal Financials* Good understanding of related technologies, especially Java (JDeveloper, J2EE, Apache) and Oracle Application Server.* Prior experience with Real Application Cluster (RAC) 10g architecture.* Knowledge of application fundamentals such as concepts and architecture* Experience of Patch Management and Version Control, including applying patches and upgrades* Experience with customization updates and environment cloning* Good knowledge of the Concurrent Managers, Forms/Report Servers and Web Servers* Understanding of backup and recovery procedures, using RMAN and other tools* Experience with performance tuning including any special requirements and restrictions eg optimizer and index requirements* Document and automate Oracle support processes to reduce day-to-day support effort for Oracle databases.* Proficient with Red Hat Linux and UNIX / Linux scripting experience is required.* User Access Administration* Experience with Enterprise Reporting tools such as Discoverer We offer a fully competitive total rewards programs in a Pay for Performance environment, including opportunities for growth and development through Unisys University, an above market vacation policy, tuition reimbursement, competitive health and welfare benefits including medical, dental, life, disability, 401K and (featuring immediate eligibility) and a developing array of work/life benefits.If you are interested in applying for this employment opportunity or exploring similar opportunities, please Apply Online.
