Linux Engineer;

Primary Job Responsibilities:

 

Develop, enhance and support Linux kernel modules, command/utilities, and development
kits for the Power PC family of processors (BSPs). Develop embedded software at the
SOC (system-on-chip) level. Develop and support of boot loaders, kernel services,
peripheral drivers (SRIO, SATA, 1588, Ethernet, McMal, USB, USB-OTG, PCIe, PCI,
etc.), and development kits (compilers, linkers, etc.).
Develop relationships with the Linux kernel community.

 

Experience Requirement:


Knowledge of wireless and storage systems such as RAID and HBA at architectural level
is a plus. Should understand the system bottom up, from the low level SW (drivers) to high level SW (applications). Capable of developing both low level and high level software.

 

Education Requirement or Equivalent:

 

Bachelor's degree.
