Sr. IT Project Manager

TIBCO is looking for an experienced Sr. IT Project Manager for its Internal Technology Business Applications Group.  We need someone whose background included working as a Business Systems Analyst for an internal IS Group.

 

 This individual would be responsible for all aspects of project management (planning, organizing, scheduling, tracking, user testing coordination & acceptance, training of projects from concept & specification, design, through on-time delivery).

 

 Liaise/coordinate with the business team, development team and other IT teams during the planning and execution phases to ensure timely delivery of all aspects of projects by gaining a high level of knowledge and understanding of the business processes and applications systems affected by each project.

 

The successful Sr. IT Project Manager will have experience working with business process owners and end-users to establish sufficient levels of detailed requirements as well as creating test plans and training documents.  In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to managing Business Applications related special projects and work with management in defining standards for Project Management procedures.

 

 

Requirements:

 

10 years of IT experience of which 5+ most recent years of experience is required managing large scale system implementations

 

Extensive experience in ERP/CRM/HRMS System Implementation/Upgrade is required

 

Should have great understand of Project Management Methodologies and the approaches to support them

 

Understanding of and experience managing Oracle ERP/Siebel CRM/Peoplesoft HR projects is required

 

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with three (3) or more years as a business area analyst/specialist in Finance/Sales Marketing/Technical Support/HR functional area is a huge plus

 

Proven project management skills and experience and ability to manage cross-functional teams

 

Successful experience interacting with business process owners to define business user requirements and manage expectations & deliverables

 

Experience designing project plans including project risk management and resource allocations

 

Experience managing issues and escalations in projects

 

Strong process orientation and systems background

 

Good communication and cross-functional teaming skills are required

 

PMI certification is desirable

 

Functional domain knowledge of a contract management solution is a plus

 

Experience working with on-site/offshore resources is highly desirable
