Sr. Financial Analyst - 3073

The Senior Financial Analyst is a key contributor to the Corporate Finance department of this dynamic software company. The position is responsible for strategic financial planning, financial analysis, and communication with the executive team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with functional and geographic executives across the Company to develop budgets and forecasts
• Measure and track performance against financial objectives, and communicate results to management throughout the Company
• Develop models and tools required to efficiently and effectively deliver financial insights throughout the Company
• Create and maintain financial analyses and reports for a wide variety of internal uses
• Work with VPs and other managers within functional departments to understand operational demands and impact on corporate financial goals
• Provide financial analysis and support in business development and M&A activities, as and when needed
• Work closely with the Accounting team to facilitate monthly close process
• Provide analytical support for wide variety of ad hoc projects as requested by management team

REQUIREMENTS:
• Must possess superior analytical and communication skills
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Detail-oriented quick learner who has the ability to work under tight deadlines and with limited supervision
• Ability to think strategically as well as tactically
• Must have extensive experience with Excel
• Ability to learn new software is a must, and experience with SAP a plus
• Software industry a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, and 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience

Position to be based in Redwood City, CA or Hillsboro, OR.
