Local Candidates preferred! A Sr. C/C++ Developer needed for the technical selections and the design of applications that have direct business impact and used by many of our customers.   Job Requirements: 7+ years of software development experience7+ years of experience developing in C/C++ for a Unix/Linux/Windows environmentExp. building OO systems using a structured methodologyExp. in iterative development preferredExp. delivering products and components for a Unix/Linux/Windows environmentExp. developing with open source-type librariesExp./knowledge with RDBMS – preferably MySQLExperience with technologies such as single fault tolerance, firewalls, proxy servers, etcKnowledge of networking protocols and technologies such as HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, sockets, UDP, DNSWeb infrastructure components such as: web servers, web application servers, domain name servers, etc. is a plusSupporting 24/7 research and production environment. Responsibilities: Design for scalability; create data models and UML diagrams as-needed.With other senior developers, determine best technologies and framework(s) for the applications. Plan development iterations and schedules.Adhere to assigned project schedules.
