Sr. Application Systems Analyst / Programmer

One of A.C.Coy Company’s strategic Clients located in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area currently is looking to fill the position of Sr. Application Systems Analyst / Programmer.

 

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, comparable technical/engineering field, or equivalent work experience required

· Minimum 5 years team-oriented architecture and development experience in a service-oriented architecture environment required

· Microsoft SharePoint experience required with strong .Net development skills

· Strong Java Development skills required

· Minimum 5 year programming experience in SQL required; Oracle preferred

· Experience in UNIX environment and JavaScript a plus

· Experience in architecting integration solutions between UNIX, Microsoft, and Oracle

 

MAJOR DUTIES:

· At a senior level; design, write, modify, test and maintain programs, scripts and modules to meet changing business needs specifically with a web design focus

· Prepare test data and implement test scripts.

 Adhere to departmental standards (programming, turnover, testing, documentation, incident reporting, SDLC, etc)

· Provide project leadership responsibilities in areas of code reviews, project work, QA, as needed

· Develop technical specs using professionally accepted modeling tools and specification techniques

· Develop and publish database, program, script and test specifications

· Maintain current understanding of programming, analytical and related development techniques appropriate to this position
