We are currently seeking a Sr. Account Manager for the Southern California Region.  The Sr. Account Manager is responsible for achieving an assigned sales quota to resell project management solutions within the specified territory. The Account Manager is directly responsible for the reseller quota attainment. This position provides a base salary plus performance-based commission.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Capable of successfully selling software and services

•  Formulating and implementing targeted sales plans

•  Responsible for achieving the assigned sales quotas

•  Develop and maintain necessary pipeline and forecasts to ensure sales success

•  Capable of selling at both senior executive level and project manager level

•  Responsible for appropriate qualification of potential customers, including leading of  pre-sales discovery meetings

•  Present overall partner solution set including delivering software demonstrations

•  Understand price book to create proposals and solutions for clients

•  Negotiate contracts to produce purchase orders for software and services

•  Work closely with partner and Meridian sales teams including Professional Services to develop proof of concept demonstrations and responses to RFP’s

•  Leverage partnerships and relationships to secure new target accounts

•  Responsible for following up with Meridian and partner generated leads

 

Requirements:

•  Mimimum 5 years sales experience and/or engineering or construction industry experience

•  Business development experience

•  Bachelor’s degree

•  Strong oral and written communication skills

•  Strong problem solving skills

•  Strong negotiation skills

•  Strong presentation skills

•  Honest, confident, and personable

•  Willingness to travel 25% - 40% of the time in the Southern California region.
