Our secret: expertise and innovation. We are currently seeking a Solution / Application Engineer in our McLean, VA location. All candidates must be a US Citizen and must be able to obtain an NACI (US Government National Agency Check and Inquiries) clearance.   The MGS Solution Engineer is responsible for partnering with Sales / Business Development team in the pursuit of new business opportunities in the Federal Sales Channel. Specifically, this position is responsible for determining customer’s business requirements, developing detailed Solutions Strategies involving business process, application and technology. and creating plans and proposals. Solution Engineer/Consultants design and lead technical solution development, assist in the preparation and delivery of sales presentations, and are key contributors during proposal development. Essential Functions: Consult and advise prospects and existing clients on how Monster products and solutions integrate with their overall Human Capital requirements. Increase sales opportunities by identifying untapped customer needs, product enhancements, and industry developments. Develop and write RFP and RFI responses and prepare SOWs. Collaborate with Sales organization to scope and create customer solutions and write proposals. Prepare and/or assist with preparation of sales presentations, including the creation of technical diagrams to translate complex functionality into a visual process flow. Conduct client demonstrations and presentations on proposed solutions. Consult with clients to understand existing implementations of MGS products and make recommendations as appropriate. Develop and maintain relationships with key customer contacts. Gain and maintain knowledge of competitor products and services. Collaborate with Product team to write product sell sheets to inform sales team and customers of the value of new features and functions. Work with cross-functional team to develop accurate level of effort (LOE) estimates and software implementation plans for individual customers.   Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; with 5-8 years experience, as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant or Solutions Architect supporting Federal Government or DoD clients. Strong knowledge of the Federal HR and/or Applicant Tracking Systems. Experience in proposal development and writing. Excellent technical and business writing skills. Solid understanding of the sales process and consulting. Ability to develop and present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences. Superior presentation and product demonstration skills. Analytical with attention to detail, accuracy, and quality while meeting deadlines. Ability to effectively handle multiple time critical issues effectively. Ability to work well with cross-functional teams. Ability to develop and maintain strong rapport with clients. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Visio and Powerpoint. Project management experience a plus. Experience with Oracle and PeopleSoft software applications.
