Solution Consultant

Located in the heart of downtown Portland’s Pearl District, Aisle7 is currently seeking a Solution Consultant (i.e. Account Manager) to provide strategic consultation to prospective customers as part of the process of securing agreements with new accounts while ensuring successful implementation and delivery of programs and services to existing accounts.

 

Solution Consultants are responsible for probing customer needs, designing solutions using Aisle7 programs and services and managing enterprise-wide projects to successfully implement optimal results and outcomes for customers.  Solution Consultants work collaboratively with the sales team to accelerate the customer decision process by defining and presenting strong business cases while acting as overall program managers serving as a liaison between external customers and internal operations to ensure successful product delivery and implementation.

 

Successful candidates will have at least ten years of domain industry expertise and experience (grocery, drug store), a track record of leading the implementation of in-store and internet-based marketing programs, strong organizational and project management skills, strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and an unflinching commitment to above-and-beyond customer service.

 

This role necessitates regular travel for business activities – approximately 50% of the work will be in the field, which requires travel throughout the U.S. A Bachelor’s degree is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, standard project management tools and use of internal CRM systems experience required. Retail operations, marketing and/or merchandising experience a plus.
