Software Engineer – Web Server

You will have a direct impact on the design and development of the company’s core products, including existing and new location-based applications and services. You will help design solutions, make recommendations, and participate in design reviews. You will translate requirements into functional specifications and schedules, and will work cooperatively and effectively with other developers, product management, and QA to deliver products according to specification and schedule.RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for server-side code of web-based application development

QUALIFICATIONS:3 to 5 years experience writing Java and JSP code3 to 5 years experience using and configuring Tomcat, JBoss and or WeblogicExperience in interfacing Java with databases.Deep knowledge of operating systems.A PLUS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript experience.A PLUS, Python experience.Desire to engage in extremely challenging assignments.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong collaborative skills, and strong aesthetic values.Self-managed, proactive work style and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
