Volt's top client in Mountain View, CA is looking for the following:Job Description:Performs basic computer configuration and/or application compatibility testing along with network & audio/visual cabling and equipment setup.Writes, maintains and executes automated and manual test scripts, reports product anomalies when found.Performs detailed analysis of test results and adjusts test cases or files bugs accordingly.Provides some bug prevention or proactive testing through product specification reviews.Candidate must be a motivated, self-starting, fast learner who is able to work with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to define and use common terms and concepts for at least one operating system and environment. Must have the ability to read at least one programming language such as C, C++ or C#.Understanding of XML.Knowledge of and experience in software testing principles. Familiarity with product lifecycle. Bachelor's degree, technical training certification, Associate's degree or equivalent work experience/training (i.e. experience with testing through at least one full software product development cycle).Knowledge of Windows interface guidelines may be required.Must have the ability to learn new information quickly.
