Software Trainer

Kinetic Technology Solutions is an Oregon software training and consulting organization with a 21 year history. At Kinetic, we have a strong customer service orientation and we are looking for an individual who shares this focus.

 

Position Summary:

 

 

 

Kinetic is currently seeking a full-time experienced software trainer with at least two years experience teaching Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007  applications in a business environment (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) from beginning to advanced levels. In addition, experience teaching any of the following is a plus: Crystal Reports, Microsoft SharePoint, HTML, SQL Queries, Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, Illustrator and Dreamweaver.

Responsibilities: conduct instructor-led classroom training courses (standard and custom) in Kinetic facilities as well as customer facilities in the Portland metro area develop supplemental instructional materials provide after-class support to clients provide consulting with clients when needed

 

 

 

 

Requirements: advanced knowledge of adult learning methods ability to present information to groups of 1-100 (typical class size is 12) ability to learn computer software quickly and efficiently intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools intermediate to advanced skills in at least one of the following: Crystal Reports, Adobe products, HTML, document publishing tools, web development software tools, or programming ability to apply software to complex business situations ability to clearly communicate technical information strong interpersonal skills ability to manage time and resources effectively minimum two years of business and computer experience prior classroom training experience required strong writing skills - technical writing or instructional documentation experience a plus
