More information about Thomson Reuters and its financial performance can be found on www.ThomsonReuters.com.This Software Support Representative position is a part of Equis International, a wholly owned subsidiary of Thomson Reuters.  Equis develops and markets the award-winning MetaStock range of products, which are the premier brand in the charting and technical analysis arena.  The MetaStock product suite targeted toward the individual investor includes both real-time and end of day variants of the software along with data subscriptions, plug-ins and third party products.  Equis also provides graphics and technical analysis components to the Thomson Reuters product line, which serves professional traders in the world's largest financial institutions.Primary Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service experience Answer incoming customer support calls and email correspondence Keep up to date of developments in products and software in order to meet customer needs Maintain log of support calls Write FAQ's and other support documentation Other duties as assigned or as necessary This position is located in Salt Lake City, UT.QualificationsRequired: At least one year customer service or computer support experience (both preferred) Thorough knowledge of Windows 2000 / XP / Vista Excellent verbal and written communication Basic knowledge of computer hardwareDesired: Knowledge of the financial markets and related terms Knowledge of internet protocol Knowledge of Equis productsIn addition, the ideal candidate must be: Dependable, hard-working, honest, self-motivated, and punctual A people person - a patient, active listener who cares about customers; outgoing and with a sense of humor while being articulate and composed A problem solver - quick thinking and logical with an insatiable appetite for knowledge A team player - willing to help co-workers while completing individual duties; having the flexibility to fill in for others as neededThomson Reuters employees take pride in providing our customers around the world with information that is timely, accurate, unbiased and trusted.
