Software Sales Engineer

In this position you will utilize your technical skills to support the Sales Team, serving as a build management expert, assisting in sales engagements, product demos,and highlighting how product features address prospects requirements.  Your outgoing personality, commitment to assisting customers improve their development process and technical background will guarantee your success in this position.Â

Key Responsibilities: Working with the Sales Team on customer product reviews. Customizing and performing product demos. Presenting webinars. Attending trade shows. Performing Proof of Concepts. Completing technical portions of RFPs. Working with customers in a support role. Updating product documentation. Testing product releases.

Education and Experience: Two years experience working as a Software Sales Engineer in the Developer Tools or Application Lifecycle Management market preferred. OR, two years experience working as a Java or Visual Studio.Net developer. BA/BS in Computer Science or related field. Experience on Perl, shell scripts, and system administration will be helpful. Experience working with version control tools and/or build management tools will be helpful. Highly motivated with strong communication, presentation, and writing skills required. Ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions and recommendations. Must be able to successfully work with minimal supervision.
