Software Quality Assurance Specialist

microDATA, a public safety software solutions company, is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Specialist to develop and implement test plans.  This person will serve as the primary liaison between the Programming Department and the Technical Support Group.

 

Responsibilities:

 Write and maintain test automationDevelop quality assurance standardsWork closely with Developers in reviewing and applying application specificationsImplement software testingDocument software test resultsUtilize RoboHelp to document software operation guidelinesProvide the Technical Support Group with updates regarding new software releases, enhancements, and functions.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field1+ years of relevant experience in testing softwareKnowledge of VB.NET, RoboHelp, and SQL ServerExcellent oral and written communication skillsMust be comfortable working in small group settings

This position requires relocation to Vermont
