Reporting to the Director, Software Quality Assurance, this individual is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the QA Team including; test plan creation, test coverage, defect management & metrics and team leadership. The successful candidate will be passionate about quality, able to motivate and mentor team with a proven background for improving test efficiency and reducing test cycles while increasing test coverage. Actions and Results: Manage SQA Staff and ensure test plan creation & coverage of all new & existing code.Work closely with Director, SQA to create and communicate the company quality vision and help integrate it into daily operations.Demonstrate data driven management methods and deploy disciplined problem solving tools to correct quality defects, reduce variation and eliminate wasteCoach and train team members in the use of continuous improvement tools and best practicesDevelop test methodologies, plans, and strategies for development projects Required Skills and Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience managing Software Quality Assurance Engineers including staffing, performance management, assignments and personal growthLead the evolution of QA methodologies to achieve higher levels of quality and greater efficiencies and managing changePlan & schedule test coverage for releases including test approach, task estimation and detailed assignmentsTrack progress against plan including metrics that demonstrate effectiveness and adjust plans as necessaryGrow capabilities of the group including product and technology expertise, QA methodologies and scripting and other automated testing Build and maintain cross-functional working relationships to deliver high quality releases on timeExperience with Scrum or other agile methodologiesMust be comfortable leading and presenting QA related initiativesSelf-motivated and team orientedStrong analytical, troubleshooting and organizational skillsCommitment to deadlines and willingness to meet the needs of a 24x7 organizationAbility to plan, organize and execute software test projectsExcellent attention to detail, written and verbal communications skills and time management skills are essential.BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or applicable discipline Constant Contact offers a competitive compensation package that includes base salary and stock options.
