Job Description

 If you love to find insidiously sneaky bugs in computer programs, then we have a terrific opportunity for you!  MyToons is a dynamic team of coders,designers, and engineers creating a leading-edge Internet application to rock the world of animation. Our site is a dynamic Web 2.0 social media application with a high degree of user and server interactivity,

 The ideal candidate will have experience, will either have or be making progress towards a bachelor’s degree, have some basic experience in testing, be a quick study, and interested in the internals of software. Professional experience testing web applications (particularly those using extensive Flash, Javascript,CSS, and XML) is a huge plus, as well as experience with any of the following: Selenium,Watir, JUnit, SUnit, Automated Testing Tools, Test Scripting, or Agile Methods such as Scrum or eXtreme Programming (XP).

 MyToons is a terrific place to work – we code hard, but we play hard too – and we take time to restore brain cells with computer games, brief spurts of cube warfare,and insane amounts of sugar and caffeine. We have some industry veterans who are great mentors too – there is not a better place for a tester to grow a career than right here.

 Job Components

 Web and Graphics software application Testing, including verification of Functionality, Usability, Reliability, Performance, and Supportability.

 Finding,Reporting, Logging, Tracking, and closing software defects using on-line bug tracking system

 Specific feature and functionality testing, as requested and required by engineering and/or product management

 Creation of Automated test suites, including scripting.

 Participationin user community, including engendering user feedback to improve overallproduct quality
