Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer - High Availability

Department: Quality Development

Reports To: Director of Quality Development

Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities:Run automated and manual tests for CachÃ© and Ensemble functionality including but not limited to database engine, high availability systems, language bindings (code generators and runtime components that provide external access to CachÃ© objects), and EAI features. Run performance and integration tests. Gather, analyze, and communicate test results Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks. Automate analysis of some test results Automate some current manual tests Maintain and enhance functionality of warehouse that stores test results. Improve reporting. Use results to optimize: planning, assessment of quality risk, development of test matrices

Job Qualifications:Experience with High Availability systems a must Minimum 5 years experience in software development and software quality assurance, with at least 2 years experience in test automation Minimum 1 year programming experience in one or more of the following: C, C++, C#, Java, Visual Basic Experience with test automation for system manipulation, such as starting/stopping services. Microsoft Windows, Unix Experience with open source utilities SQL a plus
