Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Tyler is looking for a talented and motivated QA Analyst to join our Central Quality Control Team. Â
Responsibilities Include:
Conduct software testing to include database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, error/bug retests and usability. Analyze and identify application and system structures and identify associated issues. Understand functional specifications and provide feedback on documentation. Create, execute and maintain well-defined test cases using automation methodologies. Document software defects in the issue tracking system and proactively communicate with software developers. Participate in technical specification process to ensure resulting specifications are complete and testable, and address the requested functional requirements.
Qualifications:
BS/BA in related field or equivalent experience Solid understanding of QA techniques and test plan development Five years experience in software testing Working experience with Mercury testing tool, WinRunner Extensive experience in an automation QA role desired Excellent communication and organizational skills required Proven analytical and problem solving skills Proven customer and project management experience essential Ability to work independently and as part of a team
