As a QA manager you will lead a team responsible for  testing long cycle, complex Ziosoft network based 3D imaging products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain highest quality standards for Ziosoft products.  The team also develops, modifies, and executes software test plans with white-box, black-box, automation and PSR testing; maintains documentation of results; and works closely with development engineers in resolution of problems.


SOFTWARE QA MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Define, design, implement, maintain, execute, and document QA practices and procedures.

- Develop, document, and execute test plans according to software specifications.

- Assist in revising quality standards where necessary and ensuring released software meets those standards.

- Directing teams of QA Engineers in their performance of the quality tasks needed to produce quality software.

- Determine, implement and enforce  processes and practices that increase efficiency while improving quality.

- Assist in the estimation of project tasks for assigned testing areas.

- Responsible for all aspects of assigned project from planning, execution, to final delivery.

- Manage and report status of assigned projects to upper management with regard to coverage, bugs, scheduling, risk, and overall quality assessment.

- Coordinate with remote teams.- Work closely with other functional group managers to resolve priority as needed.

- - Responsible for resource assignments, recruiting, SQA assessments, training, and performance reviews.

- Build a strong technical culture/environment that allows for individual growth, solutions flexibility, and innovativeness.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- 10+ years of testing, with 5+ years of management experience.

- Products experience focusing on long cycle, complete coverage and formal release activities (C/C++ MFC environment is preferred)

- Demonstrated leadership role.

- Working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.

- Knowledge of the software development life cycle.

- Experience working with remote teams- Detail oriented with proven ability to multitask in a fast moving environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements.

- Proactive, responsive and keen on process enhancement.

- Strong analytical skills.

- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality software on time.

- Good communication and presentation skills.

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of employees. - Strong PC skills on Windows platform.

Education:

- BS

 

Pluses:

-  Experience with AutoIT and/or TestTrack TCM QA tools

- Experience with FDA-regulated software product release

-  Medical Imaging knowledge
