Responsibilities include:' Testing complex web applications by formulating and defining system testing scope and objectives through research and fact-finding. ' Developing test methods and tools to validate product features according to the client's statement of work requirements. ' Designing, implementing, documenting and maintaining programs and procedures designed to facilitate testing and QA efforts. ' Maintaining libraries of test conditions, cases, scripts and results. ' Analyzing test results and communicating findings/recommendations to project team members for issues and problem resolution. ' Designing and writing scripts using automated testing tools. This position will interface with project managers, software developers, customer service, fulfillment/distribution and other departments by providing support on computer quality assurance activities. Qualified candidates must meet the following minimum criteria: * 2 years application testing (or related) experience.* Experience with Linux operating system.* BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. * Experience/knowledge of Java, perl, php, .NET, html, SQL a definite plus.* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. * Good verbal and written communications skills. This position is based in our office located in downtown Silver Spring, MD less than a block from the Silver Spring Metro station.
