Job Requirements:

 

This is a dual role which will include pre-sales solutions engineering and leading enterprise software implementations and consulting services at customer’s site.

  Leading a customer implementation team to successfully implement Kovair Global Lifecycle Management at customer site. Working day-by-day with customers, setting their expectations, managing the project, and delivering written and verbal status updates to the customer and the Kovair management team. Installing Kovair software and all its required components on Customers server(s). Conducting analyses for customers’ Application Development and IT Operations needs, defining and documenting data and workflow requirements, and preparing professional quality documentation. Configuring the Kovair Global Lifecycle platform, based on the requirements documented, to meet the needs of the customer.  This requires a solid understanding of the Kovair Global Lifecycle product and all its add-ons and adapters. Integrating the Kovair Global Lifecycle platform with the customer’s internal systems as needed. Providing Administrative and System Management training and helping the customer understand how to configure and use the Kovair Global Lifecycle suite most effectively.

 

The responsibilities of the Pre-sales Engineer will include the following:

  Working in a team selling environment in partnership with Kovair’s sales managers on sales calls providing following support services: Live and web demos, Providing technical support and expertise as a technical consultant for Kovair’s products during sales calls. Communicating with the customer to qualify and identify their requirements. Write specifications based on needs assessments Configuring demos based on customer’s needs. Supporting sales managers with defining the business solution for the customer, the RFP process, and ROI analysis. Providing product and technical feedback from the field Working closely with technical support, engineering, and marketing in the creation of new product features and enhancements.

 

Qualifications and Experiences:

  A 4-year degree, preferably technical, is a minimum.  Minimum four years experience working in an enterprise software environment Minimum two years of project management and customer handling experience and good understanding of business process re-engineering techniques. Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server Must have well-rounded skills with knowledge of Windows and Web based applications. Must have an overall understanding of networks, IP protocols, servers, firewalls, Ethernet, IIS and web applications. Excellent communication/presentation/writing skills.

 

Location and Travel: The job will be located in Milpitas, CA Must be willing to travel

 

Compensation: Commensurate to Qualification and Experience
