Software Implementation Services Engineer/Developer (281004-499 (WS))

SilkRoad technologies, a leading hosted software solutions provider, is seeking a top candidate to perform software application implementation and development in support of our suite of human resources software products.

Candidates will perform the following activities:Writing, testing, utilization and optimization of advanced SQL scripts and stored procedures and SQL reporting servicesWriting, testing, optimizing and utilization of DTS procedures Writing, testing, optimizing and utilization of MS SQL SSIS proceduresWriting and testing of SOAP-based web service processes Perform quality assurance activities Documenting developed material

Candidates will be expected to: Develop reliable and optimized code and procedures in an efficient and well documented mannerInteract with internal clients and act as a technical advisor on matters related to reporting services, data transformation, and integration.Demonstrate proven skills in requirements gathering and documentationPlan and lead multiple software implementation projects concurrentlyParticipate in development activities including testing (verification/validation), implementation, and quality assurance Demonstrate logical and mechanical reasoning in a customer-centric environment Translate functional requirements into software configuration with minimal guidance Work alone with general guidance from team leader and deliver assignments on time Work effectively in a team environment Demonstrate effective verbal and written communications skills Develop and maintain product technical documentation


The ideal candidate will be extremely competent at the majority of the following technologies: T-SQL, including Stored ProceduresRegular Expressions Microsoft SQL Server Reporting ServicesDTS (SQL Data Transformation Services)SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)Advanced/Complex HTML VBScriptJavascriptCSS Style Sheets Extensive knowledge of XML Form Validation

3-5 years of experience in software implementation is expected.
