Software Engineers -Real-time Development

Celestech is looking to grow our team of highly skilled technical people with the addition of several Software Engineers.  We are considering direct employees and qualified contractors (1099) to fill these positions based upon your experience and desires (no third parties, please). These positions will support the development and testing of state-of-the-art systems for the U.S. Government.  Because of this, U.S. Citizenship is a requirement of the customer. 

 

Engineers will support the development of new satellite communications terminals by defining software architecture and algorithms, low level software design, code and unit test software modules related to embedded real-time satellite communication terminal software.

 

2 or more years of experience in any of the following areas is required:

 Real time embedded software development Software development for Communications systemsExperience with software development for systems that use FPGAsDevelopment and test of software for Satellite Communications (military or commercial) or current generation Cellular Telephony systems (GSM, GPRS, CDMA, WCDMA, UMTS, CDMA2000) – switches, handsets, antennas and base stations Systems Engineering in domains relevant to the above areas

 

In addition experience with any of the following is considered a plus:

 Windows/Unix/Linux development environmentsReal-time Linux, Green Hills IntegrityC/C++Experience with the optimization of high speed communications equipment and protocols.

 

Bachelor’s Degree in EE, CS, Math, Physics or related area or equivalent work experience is required.
