Software Engineering Team Lead - Applications Systems Framework

Become a Senior member of the growing AIR Software Research and Development team. Your help is needed to provide our clients with sophisticated modeling and analytical products that analyze the impact of catastrophe events, like hurricanes, earthquakes and terrorist attacks, and estimate the replacement value of residential and commercial properties. You will join the application team helping to create software that will serve as the services framework for running the AIR business services. You will become the Team Lead for the application.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:Help define Application Services Framework Core (ASF) requirements.Participate in the architectural design of enhancements and bug fixes.Participate in the technical design, development, implementation and testing for releases.Implement the ASF Core in C# on the .NET platform.Lead a team of 4+ developers and database engineers to deliver application enhancements.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:4 years experience leading a technical team creating a framework, application blocks, or API’s that will be used by application developers to create applications.Experience with Web Services and SOA.10 years of hands-on software development working in C++ on the Microsoft® Windows.3 years of hands-on software development working in C#.Excellent communication and project management skills.Object oriented design expertise.Database programming with SQL Server.

 

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:

· B.S. in CS, M.S. Preferred.
