Software Engineer with Java/J2EE

Management Dynamics, is seeking an experienced Software Engineer with JAVA/J2EE to work in its East Rutherford location and be a part of the NJ Engineering team.

The incumbent will design, modify, develop, write code, and implement software programming applications. This position supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems and participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. The position relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

 

Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work closely with other team members and departments.

 

50% - work on existing software development projects

40% - work on new software development projects

10% - issues resolution

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

The individual must have a BA / BS in a related area or equivalent work experience with approximately 0 – 2 years experience in software development. Familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices and procedures. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required from this position.

 

Specialized Knowledge and Skills

Struts and/or JSF experience a plus. Must have a thorough understanding of object oriented analysis, design and development concepts. Understanding of User Interface building technologies: HTML, XML, JavaScript, and Ajax.

 

Knowledge of: JAVA, J2EE, Servlets, JSP, JDBC
