Senior Software Engineer
Work as part of a team of engineers to design, develop and implement highly scalable and reliable distributed systems. You will contribute to the design and development of our enterprise class e-mail technology platform. You will contribute to all phases of the software development life cycle.
Position Details:
· Work as a member of a team responsible for the design and implementation of a high performance, mission critical e-mail technology platform.
· Design advanced load balancing and fault tolerant algorithms.
· Develop distributed systems management and performance monitoring capabilities.
· Write “best seller” functional and technical specifications.
· Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development methodology and processes.
Position Experience:BS/BA in Computer Science or related discipline required.
Experience developing high performance system software.
Expert level experience developing software with C, C++ or Perl is required.
Strong knowledge of the UNIX development platform. Experience with Linux and open source technologies considered favorably.
Experience using relational databases considered favorably.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
