Work according to the practices set out in the Product Development processes and framework. Write code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of applications. Complete documentation and give input to improve procedures for installation, development and maintenance processes. Primary responsibility is focused on new development and maintenance work related to existing and future applications. This involves everything from minor code changes to architecture and design of new modules, including writing code, debugging, testing and documentation. As a senior level position, duties may also include leading architecture, design, and programming tasks of one or more engineers in a team leadership role. Specific role (area of focus and duties) is on a case-by-case basis and will be defined separately. In all cases, the individual is a team player that is driven, willing to take initiative, responsible and eager to learn. Responsibilities include:* Taking “ownership� of certain modules* Providing maintenance programming support* Architecting, Designing, and Developing new modules as needed* Adhering to and enforcing in others the processes and standards defined by the Engineering Department* Work in a cross-functional team environment and act as the engineering interface as needed with other project team members including Product Management, QA, Docs, Client ServicesRequired Experience



Minimum requirements include: College Degree in Computer Science 5 years development experience of commercial/enterprise business systems with Microsoft technologies 3 years commercial development experience with C# and .NET Framework, WCF Mocking and Testing framework hands-on experience like nunit and nmock 3 years practical experience as a technical-lead/team-lead 3 years experience with knitting product software with external systems including: designing and writing communications drivers, writing interface documentation, implementing, testing and troubleshooting communication software 2 years of advanced XML experience including XSLT Reasonable knowledge of Windows server platforms Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.

Additional, ideal requirements include: 2 years BizTalk development experience including the following: creating customer adapters, implementing business logic using custom orchestrations, message transformation expertise, routing to external systems. 5 years experience with Customer care and billing applications 5 years commercial experience developing n-tier applications Thorough knowledge of Oracle (7, 8i, 9i, and 10g) and PL/SQL 3 years commercial development experience with Visual C++ Experience with TCP/IP, HTML, SOAP Experience with Configuration Management processes and tools Experience with Visual Source Safe and incident tracking tools Submitting a resume online at a job site could cause valuable screening information to be missed.
