Software Engineer - Security

SECURITY SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Job Summary: Our Research and Development organization has a new opportunity for a Software Engineer primarily responsible for designing, developing, testing, documenting and supporting the integrated security system of Lawson's software products.  As the Subject Matter Expert, the System Engineer will assess new technologies and troubleshoot situations in security development.

Minimum Qualifications: 

 

*At least 5 years primarily J2SE/J2EE related programming and design experience

*Strong design and development experience of tiered applications and management tools

*Sound understanding of operating systems and Operating system security

*Experience with Java, J2EE, Javascript, HTML, XML, SAX, DOM

* Experience with C/C++, Make, Ant, PERL

* Familiarity with Windows and Unix OS (AIX, HP, SUN)

* Familiarity with general LDAP concepts and JNDI

* Familiarity with general security domain concepts--cryptography, access control, integrity

* Ability to lead design and discussions

* Ability to do rapid prototyping and iterative development

* 4 year Degree with a B/A or B/S degree in Computer Science or MIS or a 2 year Degree with applicable experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

* Familiarity with parsers, rules engines and rules based systems

* Experience with IBM Websphere

* Familiarity with iSeries.

* Experience with .Net

* Experience developing security solutions a plus--Authentication, Identity Management, Authorization systems, Role-based Access Control (RBAC) systems

* Familiarity with security products: IdentityMinder/SiteMinder, RSA ClearTrust, IBM Tivoli AccessManager/IdentityManager/WebSeal

* Familiarity with directory products: Tivoli Directory Server, Microsoft ADAM, Microsoft Active Directory

* Familiarity with developing or using PKI and certificate based systems
