Rapidly growing manufacturer of precision test and measurement instruments has an exciting opportunity for a hard charging, career oriented software engineer for a key position within its product development group.
Â
The successful candidate will assist in the development of innovative image processing/visualization software systems including the design of new algorithms and the development of novel graphical methods for accurate system calibration and optimization.
Â
The successful candidate will focus on design and development of cutting-edge 2D image processing, 3D volume rendering, volumetric, and geometric data structure optimization, system architecture development, workflow design, and calibration algorithm implementation.

Key Requirements:
Â
·        Strong knowledge of computer graphics.
·        Extensive experience with development of software for processing and handling large point cloud data sets, including data handling, visualization, and meshing.
·        Experience with 2D image processing (Matlab experience is desired).
·        Extensive experience with volume rendering and 3D rendering.
·        Strong background in algorithm design along with experience in scientific visualization.
·        Experience with Windows Form, MFC libraries.
·        Solid C, and C++ design, coding, debugging, and optimization skills.
·        Extensive and creative systems architecture capability.
·        Intermediate knowledge of source code control tools.
·        Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
·        Experience with OpenGL, GLUT, VTK, VRML, or other 3D toolkits is a plus.
·        BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with two or more years of experience in software programming.
·        Good written and verbal communication skills.
