NCR (www.ncr.com) is headquartered in Dayton, Ohio.   Software Engineer Multiple Levels Summary Description:The Common Application Software Platform (CASP) team is creating software applications that will be used across all of the NCR vertical organizations and self-service delivery channels.  The Software Engineer role is responsible for technical design, development, and maintenance of software applications and their associated components within the CASP team. Key Areas of Responsibility: ·  Design software subsystems, components, and their interfaces in support of business requirements Develop high quality code to support technical architecture and design Participate and contribute to an effective software development lifecycle Accurately estimate time and resources for software development efforts Incorporate unit testing practices into software development process Work Environment:This position is located in the Orlando, FL region.  Skills & Attributes:The ideal candidate will have the ability to work effectively in a team environment composed of peers and cross-functional members, be focused and a self-starter and have exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.  The ideal candidate will also have the ability to learn new technologies and adapt to new challenges quickly is critical.  Project work varies considerably in a range of technologies and environments from legacy integration to up-to-the minute software development with the latest tools and technologies.  Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to new challenges quickly is critical.  Local and International travel may also be required.  Basic Qualifications: BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology or related field Must have knowledge of C# and .NET 1-10 years of software development experience Experience in software design and development US Permanent Resident  *Our total compensation approach includes a competitive base salary, 401(k), strong work/family programs, and medical, dental and disability coverage.
