Our continued success has created this immediate opening for a Software Engineer/Java Developer, in a sustaining engineering role on the Client Team, which develops scanning software that runs inside of digital copiers/scanners.

 

Key Responsibilities:

The Software Engineer/Java Developer will design, code, unit test and maintain Java components for our 4x embedded clients.

 

Essential job functions include:Create functional and design specificationsWork closely with  Product Management, QA, Release Engineering, and Technical Writers to execute service packs and hotfixes.Other tasks as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

The successful candidate must have a BS Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with 3 - 4 years of current software development experience.

 

Must be knowledgeable in and have experience with the following web technologies:

·  Java (required)

·  XML (required)

·  Multi-threading (required)

·  Networking/sockets (strongly desired)

·  C++ (desired)

·  Image Processing (optional)
