Position: Software Engineer Image Processing

(One year contract position-Possibly perm / Limited term employee position)

 

Job Description:

Design and develop algorithms for a secure document management project.

* The candidate will work on co’s secure document management project.

* The candidate is required to enhance existing document authentication algorithms.

* Design and develop new algorithms like image compression, document analysis, watermark, noise reduction, feature extraction etc.

* The candidate also needs to work closely with our software engineer to integrate the developed algorithms into products.

* The candidate needs to have good programming skills, although proficient in programming is not necessary.

* Modifying and debugging existing source code, using SDK is minimum requirement for programming.

 

Essential Duties:

・Design and implement algorithms to secure document contents

・Analyze and enhance existing image authentication algorithms

・Propose and design document management utilities

・Write development specifications

・Identify potential issues and propose solutions

・Troubleshooting and bug fixing to meet specifications

・Release timely according to project’s schedule

 

Required Skills:

・Proven track record of algorithm design and development for commercial products on schedule.

・Solid knowledge on image processing, image compression and image security technology

・Programming skill in C/C++.

・Excellent English writing skill for technical specifications, test/evaluation reports and research papers.

・Capability of decision-making and problem solving in complicated system.

・‘CanDo’ personality, enthusiastic to learn new things quickly.

・Minimum education requirements: BS, CS

・Minimum 4 years of experience in the image processing related field and

3 years of programming

 

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of MFP (Multi-Function Peripheral)
