We are seeking candidates for an IT Analyst to support Transportation/Civil Engineering projects in the Boca Raton area. Duties: Intermediate level position which performs tasks, with minimal supervision, relying on experience and judgment. Design, debug, and maintain existing code following established development and coding standards. Design user interfaces which make the process of using the system effective and efficient. Write and maintain program documentation. Communicate with internal and external clients for purposes of system support or explanation. Participate in periodic code reviews set up by senior staff. Analyze and refine system requirements and translate into application prototypes. Design and implement extensible object models (achieve altered behaviors by extensions of a base object). Identify recurring design situations and choose appropriate implementations based on familiarity with design patterns. Ideal candidate will be familiar with Rational Unified Process (RUP), Flow Diagraming, Unified Modeling Language (UML). Ideal candidate will be familiar with VISIO.
